The colored part is made from Japanese lacquer "URUSHI".

"Chanto" is a brand of products manufactured in an artisanal way.
This technique is used for manufacturing Japanese a (family) Buddhist altar of Shiga prefecture certified by country .

Precaution:

It's not very Water resistant.

All handmade.

How to care:

- Hand-wash with warm water with a gentle sponge (not abrasive)
- After washing, wipe off any excess water with a soft cloth, then let it dry out completely.
- Do not let immersed in water.
- Against the food which can be stuck above, fill with tepid water and to leave it approximately 10 minutes.
- not microwave, nor dishwasher safe
