It's been more than 40 years that Mr. Hirai works as a craftsman specialized in wood in Osaka.

Thanks to a potter's wheel and very precious piece of wood.
He does not need any design plan, he makes pens by his own sens and his experiments.

This is one of a kind pieces, authentic and original product each time.

This is a pen entirely handmade by a specialized craftsman.

He cannot make more than 4 to 5 pens per day, it is a real authentic handicrafts.

These pens are made of Yakushima cedar more than 1000 years old in Kagoshima prefecture,
certified as a world natural heritage .

We cannot cut these wood any more today, so very difficult to have it in the market actually.
He gets this Yakushima cedar in a natural way, when a tree dies a natural death.

This pen gives you a nice smell.

You can be satisfied with nature by its simple bark.
